MOTM: November
Another month is almost up, so I'm about to share with you my favorite songs of November. I have changed the format of these posts slightly to incorporate videos to make it easier for you guys to listen to the songs/watch the videos. Please let me know in the comments if you prefer this format or my old format!
Tom Odell released his music video for his new single "I Know" yesterday. "I Know" is one of my favorite songs off his album and I love the video that now goes with it. I am pretty certain that this song is going to go far on the charts when it gets released! I was lucky enough to see Tom Odell live last month and he was featured in a post on my blog a few weeks ago which you can read here.
Since I purchased their debut album 'If You Wait' in September, I have been listening to London Grammar almost every day. I just can't fault them. Their lyrics are honestly like therapy, they are so powerful. London Grammar released their music video for their next single 'Nightcall' only a few days ago too, and I absolutely love it. If you've not listened to London Grammar before then I recommend you do so because they are about to become huge!
My next choice is by someone who has caused a stir in the media a lot lately. I did a huge long post on all the controversy surrounding James Arthur, so please do have a read of it by clicking the link here. His next single 'Recovery' is one of my favorite songs ever. It is such a powerful, relate-able song to me. It is on his debut self-titled album which I personally don't think has been given enough credit. The video for 'Recovery' has not yet been released so instead, I have linked an acoustic version of the song.
McFly have been one of the very few bands that I have loved since I was a kid, and carried on loving as I have been getting older. They are 4 of the most genuine, loving and talented men in the music industry. They are also absolutely hilarious, if I'm ever having a bit of a rubbish day then I will usually always go and youtube videos of them and be laughing within minutes. Their latest single 'Love Is On The Radio' was released last week, and I adore it. It has a bit of a country/folk edge to it which compliments their pop/rock style really well. And the video to go with it is just amazing! See for yourself.
Finally, I have an artist who a lot of people won't have heard of. Carrie Hope Fletcher. Carrie is actually Tom from McFly's sister, but I didn't know that until after I'd spend a few months watching her on youtube. I was catching up on youtube videos the other day and came across this video of Carries where she had invited some of her close friends over to ignite their problems. It was such a sweet video and the music playing to it was a song called The Way We Were sung by Carrie. This song is available on iTunes so download it if you like what you hear. Click the link here to be taken to the iTunes page.
I hope you've enjoyed listening to some of the music I have been loving this month. I'd love to hear some of the music you've all been listening to so please leave me a comment below!

Music Of The Month: September
I can't quite believe it's that time again; as another month draws to a close I'm back bombarding you with my favourite music from this month.
As you can probably tell by the title, I've changed the name of my "Songs Of The Month" series to "Music Of The Month." This is because aswell as naming or introducing you all to my favourite songs, I want to share some of my favourite albums too. Yet I didn't want to make an albums series because some months there are a billion albums I fall in love with... and others there isn't a single one. So, enough blabbing for one day... let's get cracking with the music!

Amazingly, I've been nominated for the Liebster Award!
The rules of the liebster award are:
The rules of the liebster award are:
1. You must link back to the person that nominated you.
2. You must answer the 11 Liebster questions given to you by the nominee before you.
3. You must pick 11 bloggers to be nominated for the award with under 200 followers.
4. You must come up with 11 questions for you nominees to answer.
5. You must go to their blogs and notify your nominees.
missmajestic2.blogspot.com nominated me for this award, which I am very thankful for! If you don't already follow her blog then please go over and do it now!
- Why did you choose to start a blog ?
I'd read other peoples blogs for a long time and it was something I thought I'd like to give a go because I love writing and the things I liked writing about, people seemed to be interested in. Like Louise (from Sprinkle Of Glitter) says, it's like my own little slice of the web. - What are your goals for your blog in the future?
I'd love to reach 50 followers and also make my posts more consistent. - What is your favourite pass time ?
I'm not entirely sure I know what a pass time is, so this answer may not make any sense!! But I used to love going to visit this horse sanctuary (one of the World Horse Welfare's ones) with my Grandad when I was little. - What do you want to be when you grow up ?
A nurse :) - What is your most prized possession ?
Sadly, my phone. - Have you ever been in love ?
At the time, I thought so. But now I'm not too sure! - Are your parents separated ?
No although I'm not sure how much longer they'll be together. - What do you want your viewers to learn from your blog/yourself ?
That it's okay to not follow the crowd, do your own thing instead. - Favorite animal ?
Horse! - Your favourite quote ?
I have a lot, this isn't my all time favourite but "if you're going through hell, keep going", because it empowers me to keep sticking out the tough times. - One word to describe yourself.
Different.
The 11 blogs I am going to nominate for this award are: (in no particular order)

1. How old are you?
2. What made you start blogging?
3. Would you ever consider doing you tube to back up your blog?
4. Do you consider your blog to be more business or pleasure?
5. What is your aim of your blog?
6. What are your favourite things to read about on other peoples blogs?
7. What is your favourite TV show?
8. Who is/are your favourite music artist or band?
9. What country do you live in?
10. What milestone are you currently working towards with your blog?

Once again, a massive massive thank you to the gorgeous Makayla for nominating me for this award, and I hope you guys all enjoy it as much as I have! Charlotte x
